PureCoat Superfine Skimcoat Powder

A powder type skim coat based on a high performing polymer powders specially designed to use as a thin layer cementitious plaster to smoothen surface imperfections of concrete walls prior to painting. It covers pin holes, surface unevenness and minor concrete imperfections that helps lessen paint consumption. It also eliminates plastering defects, water seepage, bridges hairline cracks with long pot life and open time for a premium finish that provides superior adhesion, water and alkali resistance, as well as good sanding properties.

Application
METHOD OF APPLICATION: steel cement trowel
PAINTING SYSTEM: Add 7 liters of water to 1 bag (20kg) of PureCoat Premium Superfine SkimCoat Powder. Mix until homogeneous. Let it stand for 10 to 15 minutes before mixing again prior to application. For better adhesion and proper curing, sprinkle or damp surface with water before applying the prepared mixture. Apply evenly at 1-2 coats or at 0.50 mm to 2 mm thickness. Application interval is at 30 minutes setting time. Do not add more water to the mixture during application to extend pot life as this will already affect properties of the product. After thorough drying, light sand surface before paint application. Note: For optimal performance and durability, it is recommended to use PureCoat Premium SkimCoat Liquid in place of water when mixing with PureCoat Premium SuperFine SkimCoat Powder.
Surface Preparation
For maximum paint performance, surfaces to be painted must be dry and in sound condition, free from loose dirt, dust, oil, grease and other foreign matter. These conditions must be ensured before starting paint application.
