PureCoat Duratex Penetrating Sealer
Concrete | Primers & Sealers
An acrylic solvent based coating intended to seal and smoothen the surface of new and old interior and exterior masonry, wood and fiber cement board. It also acts as water repellant.

Application
METHOD OF APPLICATION: spray, brush or roller
PAINTING SYSTEM: For spray application, reduce 4 parts PureCoat Premium Duratex Penetrating Sealer with 1 part PureCoat Premium Duratex Reducer (AK-78-215). For plain finish, apply one or two coats of PureCoat Premium Duratex Penetrating Sealer on bare concrete. Let it dry then prime surface with PureCoat Premium Duratex Primer. Putty surface imperfections with PureCoat Premium Duratex Cast. Spot prime areas with putty with PureCoat Premium Duratex Primer then topcoat with PureCoat Premium Duratex Topcoat Gloss White. For textured finish, apply one to two coats of PureCoat Premium Duratex Penetrating Sealer on bare concrete surface. Let it dry then prime surface with PureCoat Premium Duratex Primer. Achieve textured finish by spray application of PureCoat Premium Duratex Cast using mortar gun. Finish with PureCoat Premium Duratex Topcoat Gloss White.
Surface Preparation
For maximum paint performance, surfaces to be painted must be dry and in sound condition, free from loose dirt, dust, oil, grease and other foreign matter. These conditions must be ensured before starting paint application.
