Illinois Dead Flat Clear Lacquer
Wood | Topcoats
A nitrocellulose based lacquer topcoat where flat finish is required. It is specially formulated to give an excellent finish on any delicate and expensive wood works for both exterior and interior purposes, as it imparts good film characteristics such as durability and toughness to match severe tropical weather conditions.

Application
METHOD OF APPLICATION: spray
PAINTING SYSTEM: Reduce 1 part by volume Illinois Dead Flat Clear Lacquer to 2 parts Illinois Lacquer Thinner to approximately 11-14 seconds FC #4. Using brush or rolled cloth, apply Illinois NGR Penetrating Woodstain on bare wood. Leave until totally dry. Recoat if darker shade is necessary. Allow to dry. For better inter-coat adhesion, apply with Illinois Lacquer Sanding Sealer. For flat finish requirement, use Illinois Dead Flat Clear Lacquer as topcoat.
Surface Preparation
For maximum paint performance, surfaces to be painted must be dry and in sound condition, free from loose dirt, dust, oil, grease and other foreign matter. These conditions must be ensured before starting paint application.
