A two-pack pure polyurethane resin based coating designed for use as the final finishing coat for both metallic and solid colors. It enhances leveling and gloss and provides good hardness and flexibility as well as chemical and weathering resistance.

Application

METHOD OF APPLICATION: spray

PAINTING SYSTEM: Stir well before and after reduction. Mix by volume 4 parts Guilder Prestige 2K Polyurethane Fast Cure Clearcoat 101 to 1 part Guilder Prestige 2K Polyurethane Fast Cure Clearcoat Hardener 2001. Apply by spray, one mist coat as first coat. Allow 2-3 minutes flash off time before applying one full coat as the second coat. Allow 2-3 minutes interval before applying another one full coat as the final coat. For durable and rust inhibiting undercoat or priming over bare metal surfaces, use Guilder Epoxy Primer. Then use Guilder Prestige 2K Polyurethane Fast Dry Primer Surfacer as intermediate coat to promote better inter-coat adhesion as well as good color and gloss hold out properties. Use specially formulated Guilder Prestige 2K Super Gloss Clearcoat 100 or Guilder Prestige 2K Polyurethane Fast Cure Clearcoat 101 with added UV absorber and light stabilizer for the final finishing coat for maximum durability and protection against detrimental effects from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. To enhance gloss and appearance, use Guilder Rubbing Compound Coarse Orange for coarse grits and Guilder Rubbing Compound Fine White for fine grits to remove dirt and to correct minor imperfections on final topcoat finish.

Surface Preparation

For maximum paint performance, surfaces to be painted must be dry and in sound condition, free from loose dirt, dust, oil, grease and other foreign matter. These conditions must be ensured before starting paint application.
