A lead safe two-component epoxy based primer formulated as a first rate rust preventive primer using a high performance, non-toxic corrosion inhibiting pigment that replaces the usual toxic lead and zinc chromate pigment. It is designed for use on interior and exterior galvanized sheets, iron and steel for it provides a tough, hard and durable film with very good anti-corrosive property, excellent coverage and good adhesion properties. Guilder GalvaCoat can be easily applied by spray or brush. It is used as undercoat for any topcoat finish that requires durable priming.

Application
METHOD OF APPLICATION: spray or brush or roller; no reduction is required or reduce as necessary only
PAINTING SYSTEM: Mix 3 parts by volume Guilder GalvaCoat Aluminium Triphosphate Epoxy Primer to 1 part by volume Guilder Epoxy Catalyst. Reduce 25-30% by volume with Guilder Epoxy Reducer, to approximately 20 ± 2” FC #4. Allow 20-30 minutes induction time before application. Prime metal with Guilder GalvaCoat Aluminium Triphosphate Epoxy Primer. Let it dry overnight before topcoat application.
Surface Preparation
For maximum paint performance, surfaces to be painted must be dry and in sound condition, free from loose dirt, dust, oil, grease and other foreign matter. These conditions must be ensured before starting paint application.
